The key differences between the Twotrees TTS-25 and TTS55 Pro models are the laser modules. The TTS-25 has a 2.5W laser module, 20W machine output power, primarily for engraving on materials like wood, plywood, paper, leather, and MDF. It can cut up to 2mm plywood and 0.7mm leather.

In contrast, the TTS55 Pro features a more powerful 5.5W (compressed spot) laser module with 40W machine output power, capable of both engraving and cutting. The compressed laser spot provides stronger engraving and cutting abilities, allowing it to engrave on stainless steel, cobblestone, and painted metal. The TTS55 Pro can cut up to 5mm plywood, 3mm acrylic, and 0.7mm leather.

The machines come 60% pre-assembled. Users can follow the instructions or assembly video to complete the setup. Both models feature a capable 32-bit motherboard that enables upgrades like vibration switches, flame sensors, air assist systems, limit switches, and screen controls. An aluminum extrusion upgrade kit can expand the engraving area up to 420x400mm or 600x600mm.

The TTS55 Pro adds a metal air assist nozzle and circular laser shield to simplify air assist integration. It also includes a CNC anodized Z-axis lifting mechanism for adjusting the focus when cutting materials of different thicknesses. Clear measurement markers on the X and Y axes provide easy size reference. Cable management is improved with protective bellows.

For the Y-axis, the TTS55 Pro uses dual synchronized motors for smoother, lag-free movement. The left and right Y-axis extrusions are driven by quiet, lightweight POM wheels suitable for high-speed engraving. It is also compatible with optional rotary rollers.

The X-axis tensioner allows adjusting the belt tension for higher engraving accuracy and crisp line quality. An independent power switch enables emergency shutoff to protect the motherboard.
