The machine is compatible with GRBL software and supports a wide range of operating systems, including Windows XP/7/8/10, Linux, and Mac OS. It can be controlled either through a computer or the included offline controller, which features a 2.8-inch touchscreen LCD display for easy operation.

In response to common questions:

1. Yes, this CNC machine can carve metals, including bronze and aluminum, in addition to stainless steel. The depth per pass and feed rate will need to be adjusted for different materials, with recommendations of 0.1 mm depth and 120 mm/min for stainless steel, and 1 mm depth and 300 mm/min for wood.

2. For new users, the included Grblcontrol (Candle) software is a great starting point to get the machine up and running. While Easel is a relatively simple design software, Fusion 360 offers more advanced features but requires a subscription. The Candle software can only read G-code files, so users will need to use other design software to create the necessary files.

3. Once you have created G-code files in Easel or another software, you can transfer them to the machine's controller via a USB drive or SD card and run them directly on the machine.

4. While the CNC machine itself is not difficult to use, the software aspect can be challenging for total beginners. We recommend this machine for professional users or those willing to invest time in learning the software and techniques involved.
